Volunteers
The season cannot happen without volunteers. Every family is expected to volunteer at three (3) meets. Please keep this in mind as you plan your summer. Sign up to volunteer using the Job Signup buttons on the meet schedule.
There are various jobs, large and small, at different times from which to choose that best suit your family, your ability to watch your child swim, and your work schedule. We are happy to assist with finding the right job for you. If you are interested in any specific positions, please contact us at [email protected] or on Facebook.
You are encouraged to team up with other families to fulfill your obligations. For example, sign up to work at the concession stand at a home meet. Split the shift with another family so that each works half of the meet. At the next meet, split timing duties with another family that has signed up for timing. This is a good way to ensure that every family can watch their kids swim as much as possible while enabling families with younger kids to leave after their swimmers are done for the night.
If your family cannot commit to volunteering, please let us know so that we can help you find other ways to contribute. There are several volunteer coordinator positions and behind-the-scenes roles that we must fill every season. Volunteer coordinators are exempt from volunteering at meets.
